The main programme of the 26th IFCA - Infrastructure Complex: Altered Earth, curated by Tjaša Pogačar, will conclude this weekend with the presentation of two films. White Mountain by Emma Charles and Making of Earths by Geocinema collective will be on view in the auditorium of Moderna galerija Ljubljana during the museum's opening hours.

The event is a prologue of the coming issue of L’Internationale Online, confronting the two seemingly incompatible terms Degrowth and Progress. A conversation between artist Monica Narula and curator Nataša Petrešin-Bachelez will follow the thread of these ambiguous notions inspecting institutional cultural landscape to reveal several issues raised in their practice addressing political movements such as distribution and wealth, struggles for the commons, feminisms, ecology and sustainability.

The Glossary of Common Knowledge is a project of the European confederation of museums L’Internationale initiated by Moderna galerija in 2014 and organised cross-sectionally from working seminars and public conferences. The goal of the project is to compile a glossary of art terminology that differs substantially from what is found in the existing literature on art. For safety reasons related to the prevention of the spread of Covid-19 the seminar will take place online.

Quintessence is an audio-visual performance that combines the intermedia practice of Boštjan Čadež with the performative body of Tatiana Kocmur. The body of the performer is covered with LED lights that respond to her movement: her moves are captured by the sensors as picture and sound. Her choreography thus creates an animated image that is supported by a video projection.

69 Positions (Part 1: Unplugged) is an extract of the original version of the piece 69 Positions. It leads visitors through a space with texts, films and images, where memories of performances are brought alive to create a link between public and private space.
