MG+MSUM | Museum of Modern Art & Museum of Contemporary Art Metelkova OPENED FOR PUBLIC

 

The Museum of Modern Art and the Museum of Contemporary Art Metelkova will once again open their doors to all art-loving visitors on Saturday, 13 April 2021. We kindly requested our visitors to follow all guidelines for the prevention of the spread of infections. The two museums will be open until at least 6 June 2021.

 

Open all days of the week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., except Mondays. We look forward to your visit and wish you a pleasant viewing of current exhibitions.

 

Tobias Putrih is presenting a large-scale exhibition Perceptron at the Museum of Modern Art. You are invited to visit also the Museum of Contemporary Art Metelkova and a retrospective exhibition of one of the most prominent and acclaimed photographers of the second half of the 20th century in Slovenia: Autography, Uncanniness, Rebellion: the Photography of Božidar Dolenc. Maxime Berthou and Mark Požlep are presenting their work Hogshead 733 as part of the Draught series at +MSUM.

 

We also invite you to view the permanent exhibitions of the Points in Time 1889–1991 and the 20th Century. Continuities and Ruptures at the Museum of Modern Art, and at the +MSUM Selection from the Collections of Moderna galerija, Arteast 2000+ and National Collections.

 

We also invite you to both bookstores at the MG+MSUM, where we have prepared a selection of literature for demanding art readers.
