20th Century. Continuities and Ruptures
A selection of works from the national collection of Moderna galerija.The exhibition breaks with traditional linearity by introducing the topics of the 20th century avant-gardes and of the art of the Partisan resistance, bringing them into the national history of art on an equal footing with more familiar trends and, as a consequence, casting new light on the latter.

Emergency Exit 
International exhibition of twenty-five artists and art collectives revolves around the burning environmental issues of our time, looking for answers in postwar neo-avant-garde artistic practices and current ecological initiatives.

Nika Autor in collaboration with Newsreel Front: If the Forests Could Talk, They Would Dry Up with Sadness 
The three new films by Nika Autor, an artist and activist whose practice is primarily based on experimental videos and documentary films, film essays, photography, collages, drawings and spatial video installations.

The Otolith Group: Xenogenesis  
Xenogenesis brings together a selection of key works by The Otolith Group, the London-based art collective consisting of Anjalika Sagar and Kodwo Eshun. This cross-section of works, created between 2011 and 2018, reflects the artists’ ongoing commitment to creating what they call “a science fiction of the present” through the use of images, voices, sounds, and performance.

Draught | Figure 1.1 (Other Forms of Unrest)
In her work Figure 1.1 (Other Forms of Unrest), the artist reflects on conditions that make sleep impossible, seeking parallels between sleep and the structural position of art and her own conditions of work. The video – with a duration as long as the opening hours of the museum – was filmed from the bird observatory in the Škocjanski zatok nature reserve just before dawn, when birdsong drowns out all other ambient sounds.
