After the presentation the evening will continue in the Moderna Coffee Shop.

Peter Kogler's media-, space- and architecture-related approach has been a vital influence on the international art scene since the late 1970s, with his radical decision in 1984 to use the computer as the sole tool in his work being of special importance in this regard. By mutating simple elements borrowed from widely available computer programs, he developed his distinct and unique labyrinth-like structures, which represent both the organic inner world of human beings and the urban spaces they inhabit (Edelbert Köb, Mumok 2011). In 1997 Peter Kogler became a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna, and since 2008 has been professor of graphic arts at the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich.

Tanja Kogler-Rainer (1958) studied architecture at the Universities of Innsbruck and Vienna. She mainly works with small scale housing projects and specialises in interior design, furniture design and exhibition-scenography. Her work Geppert House in Leopoldsdorf (2004) won the national architecture award "Niederösterreischer Holzbaupreis". In 2012 she finished the renovation of a farm house in Prekmurje, Slovenia.

Outsider is a Ljubljana-based bilingual journal (Slovenian and German) published four times a year. Outsider is a new magazine that aims to shape architecture and culture as things that go far beyond geographical borders. Each issue has a theme that develops through the whole magazine. Thus far, there have been editions covering the overcoming of borders, mobility, education, and fantasy. Inside, the magazine features a mix of interviews, case studies, essays, and specially commissioned columns penned by key players in the Slovenian cultural feld, most of whom live and work outside of Slovenia. Some are designers and architects, while others are film directors, scientists, or art historians.
