Experience art together with our guides, learn about the history of Moderna galerija – both the Museum of Modern Art and the Museum of Contemporary Art Metelkova – and discover modernist and contemporary artworks from our national collections and the renowned international Arteast 2000+ collection.
Keeping everyone’s safety in mind, we are offering special guided tours for families with children and adolescents or members of the same household (up to 10 people).
We will take you on a tour of the time and space in which the art of the 20th and 21st centuries emerged and is still emerging, describe the social circumstances and reveal the background of artists and their works, and add related anecdotes for good measure. A pleasant stroll through the exhibition rooms will give you new insight into well-known works and perhaps open up new aspects of certain stylistic periods.
Our guided tours are intended for groups of up to 10 people that live together, either as a family or members of the same household. The tours will be customized to your desires and the age of the children. They can be scheduled during the opening hours of the museums, that is, Tuesday through Sunday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
The duration of a tour is approximately one hour. The price is 20 euros per group, which includes a family ticket. You can also give a tour as a gift.

The program is carried out in accordance with the recommendations of the National Institute of Public Health. In case of circumstances that could put anyone’s safety at risk, we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel the event.
