International comic book festival Tinta in Ljubljana presents Lewis Trondheim and Drunk Bunnies justapoxed with nine Slovenian mid-career comic artists.
Lewis Trondheim (1964) is the founder of the most influential French independent comic book publishing house L'Associacion, the editor of the author's line at the Gallic giant Delcourt and the author of more than a hundred comics from autobiographical to avant-garde to cheerful commercials, including the infamous La Mouche, also available in Slovene. The first part of the exhibition presents the most important milestones of Trondheim's oeuvre with originals and reproductions.
The second part of the exhibition presents a Slovenian team of Drunk Bunnies - Izar Lunaček, David Krančan, Miha Hančič, Matej DeCecco, Ivan Mitrevski, Igor Šinkovec, Tanja Komadina, Sanja Pocrnjić and Aja Sredanović who are according to the principles of Trondheim's experimental comics known as OuBaPo (a workshop for potential comic, fr. ouvriere de la BD potentielle). Together they have created a bunch of comics that can be read in unusual directions or certain motifs must appear in them regularly. At the opening of the exhibition, Drunk Bunnies will project a selection of comics on the +MSUM's facades with musical background.
The third part of the exhibition is dedicated to last year's winner of the Zlatirepec award, Zoran Smiljanić.
