Two exhibitions of works from the Moderna galerija collection – 20th Century. Continuities and Ruptures and Points in Time – are on view. You can also visit the MG Bookstore and the Café Moderna.

Tickets are sold up to half an hour before the gallery closes.
Free admission | every first Sunday of the month, preschool children, the unemployed, holders of the EU Disability Card and their escorts, holders of CIMAM, ICOM, Community of Museums of Slovenia (SMS), Slovenian Museum Society (SMD), Slovenian Art and History Society (SUZD), Ljubljana Card;
Free admission applies to all exhibitions organized by the Museum of Modern Art and the Museum of Contemporary Art Metelkova.
Cultural Hour in December!
In the festive December, we are extending The Happy Day of Culture and giving you a “cultural hour”. You are invited to visit our museum collections and exhibitions at MG+MSUM for free, between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM until the end of December 2024.

By bus | Buses stopping in the vicinity of Moderna galerija (MG+).
Routes 01, 02, 03, 03B, 03G, 06, 06B, 09, 11, 11B, 14, 14B, 18, 19B, 19I, 27 – get off at the Konzorcij or Pošta stops.
Routes 01, 03, 03B, 05, 07, 07L, 08, 25 – get off at the Lev or Kolizej stops.
Routes 14, 14B, 18 – get off at the Cankarjev Dom stop.
Routes 05, 13, 20 – get off at the Dalmatinova stop.
By train | The Ljubljana railway station is approximately a twenty-minute walk from Moderna galerija. Alternatively, you can take a bus.
By car | In the streets around Moderna galerija (MG+) there are short-term parking areas (with automated payment machines). There are also parking lots and parking garages in the vicinity (Parking Facilities).
