The Museum of Modern Art and the Museum of Contemporary Art Metelkova once again open their doors to all art-loving visitors. We kindly requested our visitors to follow all guidelines for the prevention of the spread of infections.


Entrance to three museums on the Museum Square for the price of one ticket: +MSUM, SEM, National Museum of Slovenia. The offer is valid in July and August 2021.

Guided tours are possible by prior arrangement and at least five working days before the desired date.

By bus | Buses stopping in the vicinity of Museum of Contemporary Art Metelkova (+MSUM).

Routes 02, 09, 12, 25, 27 – get off at the Friškovec (301012) or Friškovec (301011) stops.

Route 05 – get off at the Ilirska (501011) or Ilirska (501012) stops.

Routes 02, 05, 06, 06B, 07, 07L, 08, 09, 11, 11B, 13, 14, 14B, 18, 19B, 19I, 20, 25, 27 – get off at the Bavarski dvor (600012) or Bavarski dvor (600011) stops.



By train | The Ljubljana railway station is approximately a ten-minute walk from Museum of Contemporary Art Metelkova. Alternatively, you can take a bus.


By car | In the streets around Museum of Contemporary Art Metelkova (+MSUM) there are short-term parking areas (with automated payment machines). There are also parking lots and parking garages in the vicinity (Parking Facilities).
