Nika Špan: Fine Sciences series
Video, inkjet prints, digital files, 2007
The Fine Sciences series (2006-07, 2013) is a group of works derived from visual material found on the Internet. These are graphic visualizations of scientific research that were made to help people understand complex relations, interactions, and processes in specific given, experimental or virtual environments. Špan selected these images not on the basis of their original purpose, but for their visual structure.
