A series of presentations of Temporary Storage, Manipulation by the artist.
Dates of the presentations:

I’ve built a stage to hold the saved packaging for the works exhibited on the floor above. The packaging is usually hidden from view, stored in the service corridors, but I’ve decided to remove it from those corridors as well. The twice removed packaging is carefully organized and marked, lest it’s forgotten which works it belongs to. After the exhibition has closed, it will envelop the works again and protect them on their way to other exhibitions, studios and storage rooms. The packaging in and of itself does not constitute the work, but the way I’ve organized it probably does. My work is the fact of the stored packaging being exhibited. At the same time, this sorted packaging also functions as a support for some photos. I’ve propped them up like I do when moving them around in storage. I don’t have a storage room proper, just two temporary storage spaces. Thus I’ve built a stage for the packaging – stored but displayed – and for some photos, displayed as if they were stored. Actually, it was Armin who built the stage, and Marjan who painted it – I just filled in a crack in the wall. To explain the situation, I’ll take the stage.
