The performance accompanies the presentation of a selection from the Builders exhibition, which includes the eponymous installation. The work continues the artist’s exploration of a dystopian perspective on contemporary society in relation to technological progress. In it, Batista establishes a dialogue between the urban and the rural, reflecting on the relationships within the triangle of society – nature – technology in the context of ecocritical discourse. This allows him to move away from moralism and enter open, ever-fluid and changing spaces over which even the artist himself has no complete control.

The performance will be projected onto the façade of the Museum of Contemporary Art Metelkova (+MSUM). By projecting the performance, +MSUM is joining the event One Day. Three Museums. One Plaza.

In case of bad weather, the projection will be cancelled.
