Marko Pogačnik, “Honor to the animals and angels of the Earth”

We have entered an unusual time in which the dimensions of life previously deemed esoteric are coming to be seen as everyday reality. Also animals are not what they used to be, and angels are no longer to be attributed to the heavens alone. The artist offers a view of reality in which animals have a place also inside humans, and angels inside Earth as its primordial creative tools called dragons.

Marko Pogačnik is a co-founder of the OHO movement and member of the OHO Group (1965–1971), and a member of the Šempas Family agricultural and art commune (1971–1979). He has developed lithopuncture – the art of landscape and urban acupuncture connected with the pictorial language of cosmograms.
