Summer School as School 2018 in Prishtina, Kosovo

You are kindly invited to the presentation of this year's Summer School as School. Experiences in developing an interdisciplinary artistic and educational program, taking place in Prishtina, Kosovo, from 16 July until 2 August 2018. 

 

The school is organized by Stacion – Center for Contemporary Art Prishtina in collaboration with Kino Armata. Stacion – Center for Contemporary Art Prishtina. The organisers have published the second open call for Summer School as School 2018.

 

The deadline for the Open Call is June 25, 2018. The results will be announced no later than June 28, 2018.

 

Through the second open call only a limited number of scholarships are available.

 

In the presentation by Albert Heta, director of Stacion – Center for Contemporary Art Prishtina, Donjeta Murati, researcher and program coordinator at Stacion – Center for Contemporary Art Prishtina and Miran Mohar, will encompass the program, courses as well as engage in discussion with the public about the context, the development of the project, goals and opportunities for collaboration with the program and the program partners.

 

The program of Summer School as School 2018 will include seminars, workshops, lectures, performances, film program and exhibitions by artists, writers, and scholars, including Julieta Aranda, Zdenka Badovinac, Carolyn Christov-Bakargiev, Sezgin Boynik, Boris Buden, Mladen Dolar, Linda Gusia, Jakup Ferri, Kate Fowle, Felix Gmelin, Laura J Kurgan, Thomas Keenan, Sami Khatib, Vjollca Krasniqi, Nita Luci, Meriton Maloku, Ari Benjamin Meyers with Sandhya Daemgen, Miran Mohar, Andrej Nikolaidis, Renaud Proch, Bernhard Rüdiger, Anri Sala, Jelena Vesić, Branimir Stojanović, Milica Tomić, Alenka Zupančič, Dardan Zhegrova, amongst others
