The symposium broaches questions that challenge concepts such as subjectivity, authorship, and naming regimes, giving special emphasis to the name change and work of the artists Janez Janša, Janez Janša and Janez Janša, who together changed their names to the name of the then Slovene Prime Minister in 2007.

Hegel’s lectures on Aesthetics – perhaps the least explored work of the author of The Phenomenology of Spirit – form part of the lively German tradition ranging from Lessing, Kant, Schiller, Goethe to Nietzsche, Heidegger, Adorno and others. Hegel’s philosophy of art encompasses a broad palette of topics from antique architecture to modern theater, from religious painting to secular literature.

BEAVERS
Letters growing into space: a free workshop conceived around Kosovel’s poetry for groups of schoolchildren. Students will become acquainted with artworks from the MG+MSUM collections that bring together elements of fine art and poetry. Listening to Kosovel’s poetry children will make animated poetic collages in stop-motion technique or visual poetry based on the model of suspended spatial installations of the OHO group.
